Gabrielle joined Bishop & Sewell in 2022 as a Paralegal in the Private Client department. She gained experience assisting the Trust Manager with day-to-day trust administration and tax returns. In April 2024, Gabrielle commenced her training contract in the Commercial Property department, which she followed with a return to the Private Client team as her second training seat.  She undertook her third training seat with the renowned Landlord & Tenant team.

She is now working at Jones Chase, supporting the team and our clients with all aspects of employment law.

I am deeply committed to promoting a workplace that is both healthy and equitable, where individuals can confidently grow and succeed. Additionally, employment law is an ever-evolving field that demands continuous learning and flexible approaches to address its often intricate and varied legal issues.
I was drawn to Jones Chase because of the firm’s strong reputation in employment law and its collaborative approach to client service. The secondment offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and people-focused area of law, while learning from specialists who are recognised for their expertise.
Jones Chase stands out for its combination of client-first approach, depth of expertise and approachable style. The firm is known for building long-term relationships with clients and for providing pragmatic, commercially minded advice. I was also impressed by the supportive and inclusive culture, which encourages trainees to take responsibility early while feeling part of the wider team.
I am motivated by opportunities to solve problems and help clients navigate complex situations. Employment law in particular appeals to me because it often involves real human impact — it’s rewarding to work on matters that balance legal detail with practical, people-centered solutions. I also enjoy the variety of work, as no two matters are ever the same.
