Journey to law/role
Julie began her career in Employment law at Baker McKenzie, moving to Ayers Newmark (a boutique employment law firm) to assist with the running of the practice. Whilst at Ayers Newmark Julie studied with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, graduating in 2015 having successfully passed the Level 6 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice. From here Julie moved to Clyde & Co for 3 years before joining Jones Chase Employment Lawyers as the firm’s Office Manager.
Despite initially working in other practice areas, Julie was particularly drawn to employment law as she enjoys the personal interaction with people, understanding their stories, whether corporate or individual clients, and being part of the team that gets them the resolution that they are seeking. All of which she gets from working in Jones Chase’s dynamic Employment law practice.
Julie has over 20 years’ experience working in Employment law, for City law firms in a PA/Administrative capacity.
I enjoy making a difference to other people and take pride in the fact that, when I do a job, I do it well.
